Vladimir Volegov

This painting speaks to me of careless curiosity. The little girl is stopping to find something beautiful, to gaze on it in wonder. It doesn’t matter that she might be ruining her best hat by using it as a basket for sand crabs because she’s focusing on living life–in fact, it would never even occur to her to live any other way. How refreshing! What does this painting speak to you?
